Escape board HYDROTHERAPY for a few hours of recreation and relaxation on the scenic waters of Southwest Florida. Watch dolphins frolic and birds dive, wade or skim for a meal while we keep an eye out for those elusive manatees.
All sorts of wildlife including bottlenose dolphins, manatees, ospreys, bald eagles and a wide variety of wading birds, diving birds and shorebirds make Lemon Bay their permanent or seasonal home. Rookery islands in the area host over a dozen species of nesting birds from mid-Winter through early Summer.
HYDROTHERAPY is a 2022 23’ Hurricane Deck Boat powered by a 200 HP Yamaha outboard. Her open design allows passengers to move freely about the deck for up-close and personal viewing of playful dolphins, curious manatees and other marine life and her shallow draft allows access to backwater areas. All tours are private and there is comfortable seating for everyone.
We typically cruise in the area of Don Pedro Island State Park, Gasparilla Pass, The Boca Grande Railroad Trestle, Gasparilla Island and Little Gasparilla Island on our Dolphin Tours and Sunset Cruises. Private Charters to the Boca Grande Bayou, Boca Pass, Cabbage Key, Cayo Costa and other destinations are available on request.
Reservations are taken first come, first serve by text at 501-844-9028 or email at jerryblaketours@gmail.com. If you have questions that are not answered here please email or text me.
Don't be too concerned about the weather forecast. Our "Weather Guessers" predict way more rain and storms than we actually get and we very rarely are unable to work around the weather to get a tour in. We DO NOT take any chances with lightning and we don't leave the dock if there is any in the area. When we are out on the water, I keep a close eye on the weather and always have an escape route planned in case a thunderstorm pops up unexpectedly. If we aren't able to complete or reschedule your tour due to the weather, there is no charge and I will refund your deposit.

*****If you're staying on Palm Island (actually Don Pedro Island, Night Island and Thornton Key) in an Islander Properties accommodation - www.islanderproperties.com - that has a dock, I can pick you up there. If you're in Palm Island Resort you'll have to take the ferry back to the mainland and drive a quarter mile to my boat slip in the marina because they don't allow any charter boats pick up their guests anywhere in the resort. I also pick up at Little Gasparilla Island so guests staying there don't have to take the water taxi.*****
*****Coast Guard regulations strictly limit HYDROTHERAPY to six passengers regardless of age or weight.*****
*****For safety and in consideration for others enjoying the fresh salt air, SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED while onboard.*****
*****If we don’t find any dolphins on our dolphin tours your next tour is FREE!*****
*****There is no minimum age requirement and no taxes or any additional fees on any tours.*****
Private Charters are tailored to your preferences. Sunset Cruises are schedule to start about an hour and a half before sunset. We depart from Cape Haze Marina, 6950 Placida Rd Englewood, Florida 34224. Click here for directions. You are welcome to bring a cooler with your favorite snacks and drinks including "Adult Beverages". Restrooms are available at the Cabana/Office through the forklift area until 5:00 PM.
I recommend bringing Polarized sunglasses, slip-resistant footwear and water-shoes if beach combing or sandbar wading is planned. You are welcome to bring snorkeling gear to use while sandbarring. Jackets or hoodies may come in handy during the winter months as it’s often a lot cooler on the water than you might expect.
